About

My job description, when I have to print one, is venture architect. The actual job is messier — I show up to rooms where AI, regulation, and human behaviour all want to talk over each other, and I stay until they’re forced to coexist inside something that ships. Two decades in, the pattern is consistent: the easy half of building a company has manuals; the hard half doesn’t. That’s the half I’ve spent my career inside.

The companies I’m proudest of weren’t the ones with the cleanest decks. They were the ones where regulation, user behaviour, legacy integration, and the unglamorous logistics all had to be reckoned with before the first invoice cleared. So I tend to bet on problems other founders glance at and skip — the ones where the technology is the simplest part, and the humans are the rest.

Follow your teams at the FIFA World Cup 2026 — live scores, group standings & instant match alerts

A dead-simple, friend-shareable web app for the first-ever 48-team World Cup: all teams, all 104 matches, live scores that update in place, computed group tables, and web-push notifications when your teams kick off, score, or finish — even when the app is closed. No accounts, no login, no database; your followed teams live in your browser, so a friend just opens the link and curates their own. Live data comes from ESPN’s free public API — the server polls and caches it (a full refresh every 10 min, live scores every 25 s), so visitors only ever hit this app’s own API. Installable PWA with an offline app-shell.

Turn the Chinese you meet in the wild into the curriculum that teaches you Chinese

A personal, offline-first learning PWA. Capture real Chinese — a reel, a sign, a menu, a message — and it becomes a flashcard, a quiz, a pronunciation rep, a reading you can finally parse, and a measure of how much of your world you can now read. Re-capturing a word counts as a real review and feeds an FSRS spaced-repetition schedule; your captured phrases unlock as comprehensible input once you know every character; a “% of your world readable” meter and a next-best-word optimizer point you down the shortest path to reading your own feed. Everything stays on-device (IndexedDB) and works offline — no account, no server, no tracking.

Users build a deep AI clone of themselves — a Doppel — and their Doppel does the early discovery work. Doppels meet other Doppels across dating, cofounder search, mentorship, and friendship, hold real conversations, and only surface the connections worth a human’s time. Backed by a vector + graph memory architecture so the clone gets measurably more authentic over time, with a five-stage progressive-reveal system (text → voice → photo → video → meet) protecting trust as connections deepen.

Background

For two decades I’ve worked at the seam between engineering and business — trained at Lund, schooled in the markets of Sweden, the Gulf, APAC (China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore), Canada, and the United States, and steadily moving between the founder’s chair, the architect’s whiteboard, and the keyboard depending on what the venture in front of me actually needed. The throughline isn’t a domain; it’s the kind of problem I keep being drawn to — the ones where good technology, hard regulation, and human behaviour all show up in the same room, and where someone needs to stay long enough to ship. Two exits along the way — Scalado (mobile imaging) and Oktopi / TutorHouse (education) — are the proof that the model works.

What’s changed in the last few years isn’t the work — it’s the colleague. AI has become a real teammate to me: available at three in the morning, never tired, never territorial, equally happy reviewing a contract, drafting a backend, sketching a roadmap, or stress-testing a strategy. Anytime. Anywhere. Any place. On anything. The leverage that used to take a team of twenty now comes from working closely with one machine that can wear twenty hats — well — if you know how to ask. That’s the muscle I’ve been training: thinking with AI, designing with AI, shipping with AI. Not replacing human craft, but turning a single founder into a much smaller, much faster company.

So whatever’s in front of me next — health-tech at Medwork, legaltech at Casengine, AI accreditation at Accreditopia, or the side projects in between — the operating model is the same. A small human with high taste. An AI partner that never sleeps. And a stubborn unwillingness to let a problem sit unsolved because the team is too small.
